A First Look At Local 44

Meal Ticket gets a first look inside Local 44, the latest bar from Brendan “Spanky” Hartranft. Local 44’s differentiator from Memphis Taproom is likely the 20 taps which should mean beers will rotate at a more leisurely pace than the frantic rotation seen in Port Fishington.

Local 44 opens New Year’s Day at 5pm.

   The friends are invited, the DD (designated driver) selected – we are ready for January 1 in West Philly. 20 beers on draught – the perfect Hair-of-the Dog for New Year’s Eve! Ayinger Celebrator and Cantillon Lou Pepe Framboise on tap – 2009 starts beautifully.
