Election Day Get Togethers

We have to admit, we aren’t very excited about election parties. Maybe it’s our Inner Quaker who believes that politics are a personal matter, or perhaps it’s the boiling down of politics to sport or maybe, just maybe, it’s goofy specials like “left and right wings.”
Whatever it is, it seems like just about everyone is having an election viewing party and food and drink specials to boot.

Bards – Johnny Goodtimes gets presidential at quizzo this evening. So while you wait to find out who’s the 44th president, show off how you know who the 22nd was.
Ben & Jerry’s – Free scoops of ice cream from 5 to 8pm.
Black Sheep – Join the Philadelphia Young Women’s Network and the Association of Young Americans as they watch the results roll in.
Blue2O – The Cherry Hill seafood grill will be serving up groan inducing election elixirs like the GOP, DEM Martini and the Undecided. What? No Canadian Club?
Devil’s Den – A special tapping of Avery’s Ale to the Chief.
Johnny Brenda’s – Watch the returns come in upstairs on the big screens.

In addition to all the parties above, The Collaborative (social group for Jews in their 20’s and 30’s) and AIPAC’s Liberty Club are co-sponsoring a party at JL Sullivans (Broad and Walnut) from 8pm onwards.
