		<description>I agree that it was ill-considered to invite the guest.  I suspect that under any other circumstances she would have ordered the veal chop without the sauce entirely (as opposed to having it served on the side, presumably for LaBan&#039;s benefit).  But, taking LaBan at his word, the issue was disclosed, presumably with sufficient emphasis.  

The fact of the matter is that there is a significant portion of the population out there possessed of myriad food allergies.  This should not be news to anybody working in a kitchen, and the waitstaff should be trained to be alert to and to communicate such restrictions accordingly.

This would have been a minor footnote to the review had they served her a new chop instead of wiping off and reserving the original piece of meat.</description>
