Restaurant Week Mid-day Pick

Posted by Foobooz on September 16th, 2008

Interesting, Table 31 has plenty of reservations available tonight on OpenTable. We might call first to make sure you can get the Restaurant Week menu and heck, what’s on it.

Went there last night for RW – they are only serving the RW menu, which is posted right outside the door. Apps included gaspacho, salad, a shrimp and scallops dish, and maybe one another I’m forgetting. Entrees were chicken, salmon, snapper, steak, or a filet that was $6 extra. Food was pretty simple and traditional steakhouse but very well executed and decent size portions for restaurant week. The best part was the dessert – creme brulee, chocolate cake, or a peanut butter tart. Dessert was actually out of this world. Only downside was noisy dining room and a waitress more interested in flirting with the two gentlemen who were from out of town at the table next to us than she was with taking our order. Quite surprised there are reservations availble – it was full last night.
