Pig Meets Rabbit: The love that dare not speak its name
Posted by Foobooz on September 12th, 2008

Pub & Kitchen officially opens today at 4pm. Being the closest bar/restaurant to Foobooz World Headquarters means we’ve already been in several times during their soft opening. So yeah, this might be a bit shill-ish, but screw it, we’re already half in love.
From the Windsor burger with homemade bacon, which has tossed its hat into the best burger ring, to the gilded lily overindulgence of the Lobster BLT with truffle mayo (lobster, bacon and truffle oil?) or the Buffalo approved wings, there are plenty of menu items to try.
And since everyone always asks, are there any specials? Yes, there’s a weekday happy hour from 5 to 6pm with $3 domestic draughts and $5 glasses of the house wine from Yard Dog.
The menu will be changing weekly and is sure to soon include some interesting specials from Chef Johnny Mac.

This place has Miller Lite on tap and only one local beer.
That fact should be blasphemous to a blog that talks up Philly beer week as much as foobooz.
Not to mention, serving Miller Lite ON TAP is grounds for losing all culinary credibility.
