As much as this sounds like a porno, it’s actually really about free pie. You can get free pie today from 10AM to 2PM at The Shops at Liberty Place, courtesy of something called a Mobile Pie Hole on a promo tour for ABC’s show ‘Pushing Daisies.’ From the release:
The Mobile Pie Hole will be serving up free pie, pie-cutters, spatulas and more. I’ve read your blog, The Illadelph, before and thought that as a local Philadelphia blogger, you and your readers might want to stop by for some free pie!
Since we love The Illadelph, we’ll take the mistake as a compliment.

I was there at 11:30. No pie. A security guard said it was supposed to be in the Market Street courtyard, but there wasn’t even a crust or fork to be seen there.
I am never watching Pushing Daisies, and will be much more wary of free baked goods offers in the future.

I also went looking for pie! And on my lunch break! Free pie = costly lie. There was no pie. But if you go upstairs to the food court there are always free samples of meat and sometimes popcorn. So that was cool. As far as Pushing Daisies, I will never watch that show of liars.

It seems if it was a good show, they would do a better job of getting their free pie promos done properly.
