Sly Fox and Le Virtu are combining to do a tasting dinner next Thursday. This is the first time we can recall a beer dinner featuring Italian food.
Sly Fox beers will be $3 after dinner in the newly liquor friendly garden. The liquor license has recently been extended to include the outdoor courtyard.
The event begins at 6:30 and tickets to the five course meal are $45 per person.

Stuzzichini (hors’dourves)
Pizza Fritta
Fried dough, some filled with mozzarella and sage
Focaccia alle cipolle Rosse
Focaccia with red onion
Served with Pikeland Pilsner
Antipasto
Fiori di zucca ripieni in tempura alla birra
Fried zucchini blossoms stuffed with mozzarella and anchovy in a beer “tempura”
Served with Pikeland Pilsner
Tartara di tonno marinato alla birra con coriandolo e limetta
Beer marinated tuna with lime and poppy seed
Made and served with 113 IPA
Primo (pasta course)
Gnocchi alla birra con crema al taleggio
Gnocchi made with beer in a taleggio cream sauce
Made and served with the Incubus Tripel
Pesce e Carne (Meat and fish)
Braciola di maiale alla birra e erbe aromatiche
Pork chop sauteed in beer and aromatic herbs
Made and served with Saison VOS
Trancio di salmone con pomodoro e timo
Slice of salmon with tomato and thyme
Served with Octoberfest
Dolce (dessert)
Zabaione alla birra con fragole
Whipped egg cream made with beer and served with strawberries
Made and served with the O’Reilly’s stout
