I don't think you should be allowed to have Oktoberfest unless you are either a) A German place, or b) at least a major player in the Philadelphia beer scene. Time is neither.... What is it about absinthe, or brown liquors or shrimp cocktail that makes you think you should host an Oktoberfest? Although I haven't heard anything about it, I will be going to the Oktoberfest at the German Society on Spring Garden, at least it will be somewhat authentic.... There is a mention of it on their website... Foobooz, find out what the scoop is with that will ya...

I see they have a $15 designated driver. They should consider offering a SEPTA discount as well. Say, $40 with SEPTA tickets. Let's face it, no one wants to be the DD at an oktoberfest.
