Not sure about the "unprecedented" boast in the article. It sounds like an effort to put a Foodery in "Newbold" (South Philly/Passyunk) before the Foodery folks realize another opportunity to expand. Or at least seeing the neighborhood as the sort of market a Foodery type model would do well in -- just serving coffee as the licensing tightrope instead of sandwiches. Let's hope though that this place opens up a lot faster than it took the NoLibs Foodery to negotiate the NLNA redtape.
