Cochon’s Summer Menu

Queen Village BYOB Cochon has a new summer menu with lots of in-season vegetables. Check out the full menu after the jump.

First Course

Arugula Salad: goat cheese, fennel, walnuts, orange-vinaigrette $8

Mixed Baby Lettuce: cucumbers, radish, cherry tomatoes, red onion, parmesan dressing $8

Smoked Frogs Legs: spicy tomato gazpacho, parsley oil $12

Escargots: pancetta, tomato concassé, parsley garlic-butter $11

Fried Head Cheese: cornichons, micro-arugula, violet-mustard $10

Crispy Chicken Livers: balsamic vinegar, candied walnuts, golden raisins $9

Seared Scallops: frisée, lardons, asparagus, fingerlings, lemon-thyme vinaigrette $12

Second Course

Smoked Pork Shoulder: warm fingerling and green tomato salad, mustard crème fraîche $22

Grilled Pork Tenderloin: corn, chanterelles, wilted arugula, maple-bourbon gastrique  $24

Steak Frites: truffle compound butter, red-wine sauce $23

Mustard-Crusted Lamb: carmelized onion-eggplant tart, apsaragus, balsamic reduction $26

Rainbow Trout: smoked whitefish brandade, haricots verts, pine-nut cherry brown butter $20

Free-Range Chicken Breast: gnocchi, peas, shitakes, carrots, garlic confît, roasted chicken jus $20

House-made Gnocchi: chanterelles, asparagus, tomato-confît, herb-garlic butter $18

    I’ve been checking the website for an updated menu but they had the same heavy items on since opening. It’s hot out here, sometimes a brother needs some lighter options. The menu looks delicious and now I’m hungry.
