So Julie, who’s to say Erin isn’t a “beer knowledgeable” woman from Philly? I think she has great energy and did a wonderful job as host. Also, I agree with Jesse, I love the idea of a Beer Show! I thought Royal Weisse Ale (a Bavarian style wheat beer) from Sly Fox Brewery was a great beer to feature, especially considering it is seasonally appropriate choice from a local brewery!

What a joke. Philly.com needs to never air that show again.
"This beer is smokin', just like you Erin." says Bob. Are you serious? I wanted to see if he could actually pronounce the Rauchbier from the episode.

just when you thought Philly.com couldn't get worse than the trite and sometimes misleading wine vids, we get this. Couldn't they hire Suzanne Woods or Don Russell for this show? Its great they featured a Sly Fox cerveza, but Lord Chesterfield Ale??? I think that god-awful "food writer" in South Philly,Phyllis Stein-Novack (not to forget her mother & Edward), can pick a better beer to introduce to the multitude of Phood-geeks out there.

That was a total waste of time, and almost offensive. Why would they use a spokesmodel, who can barely read her inane lines, when there are plenty of beer knowledgable women in Philly?
