This is terrible news. My wife and I will no longer have a reason to retire in Center CIty. We feel wonderfully fortunate to have gone just last week on Sunday night when the gentleman behind the bar (was he the owner?) was hustling like it was the playoffs. The food was still wonderful, the oysters fresh, the bronzino done just right, the soft shell crabs perfect... The only glitch was the somewhat old bottle of Belgian beer and the absence of the trademark oyster crackers. We had to have our horseradish on bread.
