The Latest On the Memphis Taproom

The early word on the Memphis Taproom has been overwhelmingly positive (Lew Bryson, Brew Lounge) but they aren’t resting on the laurels after one week. Deranger Imperial Red from Laurelwood Public House & Brewery in Portland, Oregon was tapped yesterday. And weekend brunch will be starting on May 11th. It’ll be served from 11am to 5pm.

    I got some Deranger yesterday, and it was absolutely worth the drive down from my Bucks ruraldom. Got the kielbasy hoagie too, and God above, it was delicious. Stopped in the Port Richmond ‘hood and got some fresh to take home, had it last night with the best damned pierogis I’ve ever had (also from Port Richmond). Good day for eating. Gotta take the wife for dinner and try the Port Richmond Platter.
