Help A Reader With Brunch

Posted by Foobooz on April 23rd, 2008

We received an email to Foobooz Central today and since Saturday brunch is hard and mother-in-laws are harder we thought we’d ask for your help.

Soliciting suggestions for a location that serves a Saturday brunch suitable for a mother-in-law’s birthday celebration. Any ideas?

We were thinking XIX or Waterworks if you’ve got money to burn or Mixto and Valanni also popped into our heads.

Any other suggestions?

Southwark… amazing brunch, extremely underrated and often overlooked… great spot for drinks and dinner as well- best martini in the city!

Caribou Cafe and Meritage both have tasty brunch menus. They also have great outdoor seating if the weather is nice and cozy atmosphere’s inside if it’s not.

Figs on 25th & Meredith, a block up from Fairmount, has an awesome Saturday brunch, BYOB, casual dress and moderately priced. delicious.
