If their menu is anything like what you get at Vintage ... classy but not arrogant about it, you got a good place. I'm more into the alleged whisky/whiskey line they'll be carrying, though I've only seen that mentioned once. Dunno 'bout dull moments, Ludwig's was our "pedestrian, safe" option when the in laws were in town (coming from N. Dakota German farms and stationed in Germany for a while, they also pitied the food, but liked the beers). For the record, DKH, I think “upscale country club fare” is inarticulate, not pretentious.
