Finally, They’ve Had Their Steaks

Posted by Foobooz on April 22nd, 2008

It took until Primary day for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama to finally bite down on a cheesesteak but now they’ve made their steak sandwich choices. No word on any repeat of another democratic candidate’s steak sandwich faux pas.

Hillary went off the map with her choice of a steak from Boccella’s in Conshohocken. Obama went the traditional route, ordering a “whiz with” at Pat’s Steaks across the street from Joey Vento.

So who made the better choice? We’re unfamiliar with Boccella’s. Anyone have a report?

I’d say Hillary’s already made her faux pas: ordering a Philly cheesesteak in CONSHOHOCKEN. It’s not even in the same county as Pat’s.

  2. Andrew Says:

I cannot speak for Boccella’s, but a I’ve made a few late night treks from DC to Philly just for a Pat’s steak. There may be other places that are just as good, but I’ve never had a cheesesteak that’s better than at Pat’s.

The TV news report had her ordering a CHICKEN cheesesteak. That’s bending the official rules, isn’t it?
