Despite its pan-Asian menu (snore, snore, deep-Rip-Van-Winkle-style-snore) we are very curious about the opening of Pearl, the new nightspot in the Old Little Pete’s on Chestnut that has been in the works for what seems like an eternity. Taste Daily has a bit of intel on the chef, but the most interesting tidbit might be via this ad for a staffing event tonight…
Euros? Is this a new position that we never heard of in our years in the business? Maybe they need money and this is a silent plea for investors to show up with a currency that actually has value. Or are they referring to people from that particular continent? If it’s the latter, that seems… odd. Maybe their next job fair they’ll be looking for Asians and Africans and Antarcticans?

Euros what they call bottle service girls upstairs. It also refers to girls from Jersey.
And the food at Pearl is the best I have had in years, despite your loud snoring…
