Philadining contacts us and wonders why the new Dumpling House in Chinatown isn’t creating more buzz. And with 8 good dumplings for just $2.50, well we’re buzzing.

Could be because no one can figure out when Dumpling House has is open.

My excitement about Dumpling House might have been a little premature: they seem to be having a bumpy opening! Back on November 21, we simply walked in and ordered some great dumplings and sesame pancakes, with no hint that anything was awry. But everyone I know that has tried to go since then has been waved-off and told that they’re not open. Then it happened to me this past saturday (Dec. 1, 2007). I have no idea what’s up, but here’s hoping they iron-out whatever the problems are soon!
