Head down to Headhouse Square tonight for Savor the Shambles and sample plates from more than 18 South Street area restaurants including Ansill, Coquette, Django and Gayle. It all goes to a good cause, the upkeep of Headhouse Square. Hopefully Xochitl will be serving up their fresh guacamole like they did at a summer Headhouse Square event. $10 gets you 5 plates and additional plates are just $2 each.
We also have been told that this is indeed the opening night for the Beneluxx Tasting Room.

Got there at about 8:30. The booze had run out, and some of the restaurants were out of food. To their credit, many of them restocked.
Highlights: Django’s brisket and goat cheese gnocchi
Zot’s generous portion of mussels and frites (although I’m not so big on the restaurant itself)
Gayle’s risotto finger with truffle sauce
