Now On Tap At Dock Street

Posted by Foobooz on October 13th, 2007

With fall now in the air we thought we’d check in with Dock Street Brewery & Restaurant to see what they have on tap this autumn. Among the newest beer are an Abbey and a dark cherry ale.

Full beer list and descriptions after the jump.

White Ale – ABV 4.8% This refreshing wheat beer is lightly spiced with coriander and dried orange peel. Soft mouth feel and a light citrus finish make this the perfect summer treat.

Left Coast Red – ABV 5.3% This American Style Red Ale is defined by its malty body and sharp hop character. Red to Copper in color and dry hopped with Cascade hops.

Gail’s Ale – ABV 5.4% This is a single fermented Abbey Ale with an American twist. Its sweetness, typical of the style, is rounded out with American Athanum hops in the finish. Gail’s Ale puts a new spin on an old world flavor.

Satellite Stout – ABV 5.5% A bold roasty stout with 50lbs of organic fair trade espresso beans compliments of Satellite Café. Coffee lovers will easily embrace this delicious brew

Dark Cherry Ale – ABV – 5.8% Smooth ruby red colored Cherry Ale. The use of chocolate malt complements the cherry finish. 17lbs of sour cherries were added to each barrel. Taste is smooth with a hint of Chocolate and a cherry finish

Peppercorn Gold – ABV – . 7.3% A smooth golden ale with a long peppercorn finish. This unique beer pairs exceptionally with foods, particularly meats and salads.

I ate at Dock Street on Saturday night for the first time and the experience was a total let down. The beer was good but the food and service were bad, bad, bad. Now that it’s up and running, this place definitely needs a makeover.
