Calamari At The Sidecar

Posted by Foobooz on September 13th, 2007

Calamari at the Sidecar

Foodzings has an early dinner on a Saturday night at the Sidecar Bar & Grille and comes away just a little bit in love. And it was the calamari that did it.

Let me tell you, the calamari was fantastic. I’d had calamari the weekend before and man, that calamari didn’t compare at all to the calamari at the sidecar. This was probably the best cooked calamari I’ve ever had. Perfectly cooked to give it the perfect texture. I don’t know how they timed this so perfectly. And the kicker was the dipping sauce that came with it. It wasn’t a regular old marinara, it was slightly mexican-ish in flavor. Man, it was a perfect complement. I could have eaten this stuff with a spoon.
