What’s Opening IV
Posted by Foobooz on July 12th, 2007
It’s day four of our photo essay on restaurants that are opening soon. Today we take a look at some spots in West Philly and Fairmount.
First stop today is the Belgian Cafe. The latest from Fergie and Tom Peters will bring a Monk’s vibe to Fairmount.
More after the jump.
St. Stephens Green has opened in the long shuttered Cuvee Notredame. The Irish influenced bar by a couple of bar veterans from Bishop’s Collar and the Dark Horse features some big plasmas and some great outdoor seating. Here’s what it looked like a year ago.
The long lines on Sundays aren’t there yet but it’s only a matter of time before Sabrina’s Cafe & Spencer’s Too gets inundated by the brunch crowd.
The Hub at 40th and Chestnut is now open but the cornerstone restaurant is still a ways off. Jose Garces’ giant Mexican restaurant Chilango is looking to a Summer of 2008 opening.
Chilango may still be a year away but it doesn’t look like it’ll be anywhere near that long for the Dock Street Brew Pub to open at 50th and Baltimore.
