707 Menu

Posted by Foobooz on April 23rd, 2007

Funnel Cake

707, the new restaurant and bar at 707 Chestnut Street has posted their menu and it seems to be an interesting take on comfort food classics.

Among the interesting:

  • Homemade pigs in a blanket
  • Reuben Spring Rolls
  • All Day Omelet
  • Brick Sandwich (Roasted pork, ham, pickles, pablano, monchego cheese)
  • Funnel Cake

As a cheesemonger, believe me there is no such thing as “monchego” cheese. There is, however, a delightfully robust raw sheeps milk cheese from the La Mancha region of Spain called Manchego. I do hope this is what is on their “Brick” sandwich.
