"La Hora Feliz" At Xochitl

Get your happy hour on Xochitl style with their “la Hora Feliz” deal Tuesday through Friday from 5 to 7 PM.There are $5 margaritas as well as specialty Tequila cocktails. There’s also “the Guero,” think Bob & Barbara’s special with a Mexican flare. It’s a shot of tequila and a can of Tecate beer for $6. If you’ve been bitten by tequila too many times in the past there is also $2 drafts of Dos Equis.

   Dude, seriously. Three straight days of Xochitl? I assume they are the title sponsor of this website. Otherwise, settle down. It’s a perfectly decent restaurant, but damn. This is getting ridiculous.

   “The Guero” reminds me of one of the all time great movie lines:
   Bartender: We don’t have beer. Just tequila.
   Ned Nederlander: What’s tequila?
   Bartender: Uh, it’s like beer.
