Joy Manning of Philadelphia STYLE pens a love letter to Marc Vetri regarding his Osteria restaurant.

I was skeptical of the hype. How hot could one chef really be? I thought the chorus of acolytes and true believers was made up of some highly impressionable trend chasers who let the New York Times decide what’s good. But this time, all the rumors were true. With the addition of Osteria, this town’s love affair with you is headed for a whole new level. Please say you’ll never leave us!
