Sweet Lucy's is amazing. I wish it were closer to downtown. Their sweet tea, pulled pork, cornbread, sweet potatoes all are excellent.

I think Sweet Lucy's is pretty good BBQ. I've tried the pulled chicken, pulled pork, collards, mac & cheese and cornbread so far. The only thing I wouldn't suggest is the mashed potatoes, too whipped for my taste. But it's pretty affordable and it's BYOB.

Personally, I think Phoebe's on South Street has amazing bbq and great side dishes (try the mac and cheese). I highly recommend the food and the staff there is incredibly polite. People should definitely give this place a try.
