Reaction To PLCB Shakeup

The Inquirer looks looks at the fallout from Jonathon Newman’s resignation from the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Additionally PhilaFoodie gives his thoughts on what it will mean for the Pennsylvania wine lover and he’s not optimistic.

      That’s fine. I’ll just shop exclusively at Moore Brothers in New Jersey and PA will get ZERO DOLLARS from my wine purchases.

      Or Canal’s, or Red White and Brew, or Total Wine..

      That’s all well and good for personal consumption, but restaurants have to go through the Pennsylvania liquor system as well. So a disinterest in wine at the top of the PLCB can mean less choice when you go out to a restaurant with a liquor license.
