Blind Item: Manayunk Restaurant/Bar

Posted by Foobooz on January 26th, 2007

Today’s blind item is a $200,000 Main Street in Manayunk restaurant with liquor license. There aren’t too many clues in this vague for sale listing but have at it.

An excellent opportunity to own an elegant and amiable Zagat rated restaurant with liquor license on Main Street in Manayunk. Dining al fresco visitors enjoy the scene, people watching, and tasty dishes. As the sun goes down, Manayunk gets even hotter as a premier nightlife hotspot in Philadelphia. Here twenty and thirtysomething s come to mingle with old friends and to make new ones. An excellent opportunity to turn the restaurant into a bar and cater to this captive, upscale clientele. The owner believes that no new liquor licenses will be issued in Manayunk for at least the next two years. The landlord has the first right of refusal for the liquor license, which will not be unreasonably withheld. The restaurant large basement with matching first and second floors. Currently, the owner uses only the basement, the first floor and the patio and the front sidewalk in the summer. The restaurant seats about 40-45 people in winter and about 55-60 people in summer including 8 on the front sidewalk.
