Spicy Contest

Chabaa Thai Bistro is bringing spicy back. The Manayunk eatery is bringing back their outrageous spicy food challenge.

In 2005, as part of the greater effort to promote and the “true spirit of Thai Spicy,” Chabaa’s kitchen created a four-course meal that emphasized the authenticity and creativity of Thai cooking, with no mercy. Mixing extra herbs and spices onto their already hot dishes, the four-course meal was served at the final round of the contest. Corey Krantz won the $1000 grand prize through sweat tears and burning lips.
