Craig LaBan heads to the “majestic” Water Works Restaurant and Lounge and finds distractions and an uneven kitchen.
The menu offers an appealing contemporary montage – part Greek, in deference to owner Michael Karloutsos’ roots; part Mexican, to reflect chef Adan Trinidad’s heritage. The young kitchen struggled, though, with the details necessary to realize its vivid ambitions.

If you want to go to an overpriced place with the WORST service in the city owned by people who publicize the fact that they have NO restaurant experience and only got their licensing through political favors and ties, enjoy. This establishment completely thrives off of it’s historic location and view of Boathouse Row.
