Tapas Brunch At Bar Ferdinand

Posted by Foobooz on September 12th, 2006

Bar Ferdinand Now Serves Brunch

Starting this Sunday Bar Ferdinand will be serving brunch from 11 AM to 3 PM. Expect breakfast tapsas and other small plates inspired by the cuisines of the Iberian peninsula. And the prices will be quite affordable, between $3 and $8 a plate.

Highlights of the brunch menu will include:

  • Ensalada de Frissee, fresh figs, candied walnuts, goat cheese and fig vinaigrette
  • Huevos Verde y Jamon, an egg crepe, Jamon, haricot vert, mahon cheese and smoked paprika aioli
  • La Tortilla del da, traditional Spanish omelet of the day
  • Monte Cristo de Espanol, Jamon, Manchego cheese and membrillo syrup
  • Carne a la parilla, grilled skirt steak, lightly fried egg and truffle

And what’s brunch without some good drinks? Well it’s just breakfast. And who wants that? Bar Ferdinand’s brunch cocktail list is as exciting as the food menu:

  • Fresh-made sangria
  • Sangre de Maria, house made mixture of fresh herbs, tomato juice, garlic, onions, peppers and vodka
  • La Paz, Cava and fresh squeezed ruby red grapefruit, served in sugar rimmed glass
  • Sol de Cadiz, beer with fresh squeezed orange juice
  • El Abrazo, house made Clericot, with strawberries, honeydew melon, oranges and lemons soaked in white wine and topped with Tuaca and mango nectar
