Well it looks like rain but don’t let that stop you. One thing you could do is head to the Great Northeast and the Cannstatter’s Volksfest. Plenty of German beer and wine plus authentic German bands. Just sounds like fun, and it must be, this is the 134th Volksfest. If there’s too much rain then try again on Sunday or Monday.
Speaking of rain, what could be a better rainy day idea than bowling the day away with friends at Northern Liberties’ North Bowl.
Beyond festivals and bowling how about a nice dinner out? With so many Philadelphians heading to the shore, it may just be the ideal time to sneak into one of the city’s tough to get into restaurants.
