Posted by Foobooz on September 28th, 2006

Today marks City Paper’s 25th Anniversary issue and even the food section is nostalgic.

Drew Lazor goes around town with original CP food critic Holly Moore and tries out Holly’s all-time favorite Philadelphia dishes.

Here’s a look at the menu.

Salad
Maxfield’s bleu cheese salad at Astral Plane, 1708 Lombard St.

Soup
Snapper soup at Old Original Bookbinder’s, 125 Walnut St.

Appetizer
Dumplings with spicy sauce from Szechuan Tasty House, 902 Arch St.

Main Course
Roast pork at DiNic’s, Reading Terminal Market.

Dessert
Hot fudge sundae at Franklin Fountain, 116 Market St.
