Chung King Garden

Dumplings Chung King Garden

Despite an awkward first try Kirsten Henri finds delicious Szechuan at Chung King Garden in Chinatown.

If you’re a curious, adventure-seeking type of eater, you’re in for a treat. Dry panned frog meat or pickled pepper pig kidney? Intestine with hot pepper? All available. If you’re less game, no worriesthere are plenty of beef, fish and chicken dishes to keep you from running for the nearest General Tso’s. Make sure to ignore the steam table of pig ears by the front door and you’ll be just fine.
