The Wines And Art Of Spain

Posted by Foobooz on August 31st, 2006

Museum of Art

Friday September 8th you can experience Spanish wines and art at the Philadelphia Museum of Art. With Spain’s chefs blazing new culinary frontiers, there is renewed interest in Spanish wines. Join wine educator Marnie Old as she explores the wines and winemaking styles of Spain. The Museum’s education department will guide participants through a collection of Spanish art, highlighting the works and styles that influenced the artists of Latin America. This talk will be a prelude to the exhibition Tesoros/Treasures/Tesouros: The Arts in Latin America, 1492-1820.

Costs $49 a person and includes a general pass for the museum.
