Day 3 of our look at restaurants that are opening soon. Today we look at five restaurants opening in the Washington Square West neighborhood.
Oceanaire Seafood RestaurantOceanaire Seafood Restaurant has already won an award for best wine list, even though there’s obviously plenty of construction to complete before the doors open at this Washington Square restaurant.

Doctor Watson'sDr. Watson’s Pub is coming back under original ownership. Doc Watson’s last incarnation ended when more than 80 underage kids were nabbed hiding in a top floor apartment.

Marathon Grill on Walnut StreetThe Marathon Grill set for 10th and Walnut is more than a little bit away as the entire building is pretty much gutted.

707707 Chestnut will be the home of the aptly named 707. Construction is ongoing at what will be a “sharp, smart, swank” spot.

AquaAs the sign says, Aqua is opening soon. This Thai and Malaysian BYOB is getting it’s final touches at 705 Chestnut Street.

    Word ’round the campfire is that Aqua will open on Aug. 21. Not sure how current or accurate that intel is, though.
