Mark Your Calendar, Six Fall Brew Fests

Posted by Foobooz on August 23rd, 2006

Whether the traditional Oktoberfests, or other regional beer fests, Fall is definitely a high point in beer drinking fun.

This Saturday at Stoudt’s Brewery in Adamstown you’ll find their second beer celebration of the summer. There are two sessions and twelve brewers on tap.

In September things really heat up as on the 10th, the 2nd Annual Jenkintown Brew Fest is held. After being a rousing success last year, it’s back and bigger.

September 17th brings Sippin By The River to Penn’s Landing. Always a good time and benefits Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation of America.

Then on the 23rd Ludwig’s Garten hosts their always awesome Oktoberfest out on Sansom Street. Lots of great beer, pigs on spits, and live music.

In October head to the mushroom capital of the world, Kennett Square for their 9th Annual Kennett Brew Fest. And it’s a big one, 38 confirmed breweries so far!

Not to be outdone, Newtown is getting into the act with their first beer tasting, live blues, food and fun on Saturday, October 21st. They promise over 30 breweries, brewpubs, and beer importers will be present.
