Grey Lodge Tenth Anniversary

Posted by Foobooz on August 9th, 2006

It’s the tenth anniversary of the Grey Lodge and they’re celebrating with their greatest hits.

  • It all starts tonight with 10th anniversary quizzo sponsored by Sly Fox.
  • Tomorrow will feature the debut of a dunkel version of Flying Fish Farmhouse Ale and Flying Bison’s Dunklescoatzen.
  • Friday will bring out the firkens as ten brewers will have casks on tap.
  • Saturday unites National High Five Hour, and International Talk Like a Pirate Day. It also brings Golden Monkey to the taps.
  • Sunday is Munich In Mayfair IV Beer Brunch with beer from Franziskaner and an authentic Munich breakfast, which is luckily similar to a Munich lunch of weisswurst, soft pretzels, and half a liter of Hefeweizen.

The full schedule with all the nuttiness is available on the Grey Lodge web site.

I highly suggest headin to The grey lodge on Friday at noon. That’s right. Ditch work.
They are recreating their Friday the firkenteenth. This Friday starting at 12:00 pm. 13 firkins will be tapped from Local breweries.

So much cooler than saying you are leaving for avalon for the weekend early to beat traffic.
    do it.
