To Do Tonight – Beat The Heat Edition

It’s a steamy hot miserable day so what to do tonight.
Well there’s Brigid’s Meet The Beers event with Appalachian Brewing tonight at 6PM.
Besides that we recommend going somewhere with good air-conditioning and moving as little as possible.
Here are a couple of suggestions along those lines.
- Alma de Cuba and a mojito. Alma probably has the best air-conditioning in the city and the mojitos ain’t bad either.
- Sangria and tapas. If you’re like us, the heat does a number on your appetite. So how about some small plates and fruit filled wine? Amada has you covered with the sangria and the delicious tapas. And maybe on a hot Monday you can get in. If Amada doesn’t work out try the new Bar Ferdinand on Liberties Walk. Tower Investments sure didn’t skimp on the A/C.
- Or bring your own tequila and head to Lolita and mix up some margaritas. Don’t feel like mixing your own, all of the Copa locations have half-priced margaritas tonight. Including the frozen variety.
