Rooftop Dining In West Chester

Posted by Foobooz on July 18th, 2006

Tapas

Foobooz was recently lamenting the lack of rooftop dining in Philadelphia. There’s Continental Midtown and…. There’s Continental Midtown and umm…. Well in West Chester there’s Coyote Crossing.

Try out Coyote Crossing’s rooftop happy hour. When you purchase a Happy Hour drink Monday through Friday 5:00 – 7:00 PM, you receive a plate of tapas on top of your glass. Did you know that tapas means “cover” in Spanish. The story goes, an item, be it bread or cheese, etc., would often be placed on top of a drink to protect it from fruit flies. No word on what protected the bread or cheese from the flies. Discounted drinks include $4 Glasses of selected wines, $7 Daily margarita specials and $3 Dos Equis XX.

After happy hour stick around for dinner and order make-it-yourself-soft-shell-crab tacos. Sounds delicious.
