More On The New Dock Street

Dock Street pub finds a new block to brew on

The original owner of Dock Street, one of the city’s first craft microbreweries, which closed its doors about four years ago under different owners, is planning a comeback in a new neighborhood.
Rosemarie Certo applied to the city’s zoning board and hopes to open a 15-barrel wood-burning stove pizza restaurant and beer house in as little as three months – in time for one of its signature brews, the pumpkin ale. It would operate in an old firehouse at 50th Street and Baltimore Avenue in West Philadelphia.
