Apollo Pizza Is Becoming LaScala

Posted by Foobooz on June 6th, 2006

LaScala's

The Apollo Pizza location at 7th & Chestnut, diagonally across from Jones is set to re-open as LaScala’s in mid-July.
LaScala’s will serve homestyle Italian-American dishes including pasta, steaks, chops, and kid friendly dishes. All of this will be in addition to their familiar Apollo pizzas and strombolis.
For the thrifty the Center City District is offering a free appetizer coupon, and LaScala will pick up your parking tab at the next door garage.

La Scalas – Love it! Delicious!
This is my 2nd visit (since their change from Apollo) and the food was just as great as my first time.
Their fixed price menu – appetizer, entree and dessert – what a deal! And the porions were huge and their service was excellent. Definitely will return!
